Taci Maci
Taci Maci is a lovingly curated concept store in the heart of Ortigia, the old town island of Syracuse in Sicily. The brand was created by a female founder who has combined her passion for travel, cultural diversity and traditional craftsmanship into a special selection of products.
The focus is on handmade clothing, jewelry and accessories - some designed and produced in-house, others carefully selected by independent artisans from all over the world. Each piece tells a story: of origin, craftsmanship and the people who made it.
The brand promise: slow fashion, fairness and respect for the artisans' production cycles. Instead of fast-moving trends, Taci Maci focuses on small, limited collections with heart and attitude.
Process
The development of Taci Maci's visual identity was an intuitive yet deliberate design process. The aim was to make the cultural depth, the ethos of the brand and the emotional power of its products visually tangible - without falling into folklore or clichés.
In close collaboration with the founder, a visual identity was created that emphasizes authenticity, warmth and clarity. The branding combines artisanal elements with a modern, minimalist design approach - just as carefully as the products it represents.
Result
The new branding thrives on subtle contrasts: tradition meets contemporary elegance, craftsmanship meets digital precision. An organic color palette of warm earth tones, terracotta, sage and sand forms the visual basis - inspired by the Sicilian landscape and the materials of the products.
The typography is clear, slightly playful and full of character - it appears personal and independent without losing legibility or conciseness. Ornate details have been deliberately avoided to give space to the authentic content.
